This is Madison Clark-Bennett , l am 30 years old. l have pretty much been overweight/obese my entire life. When l was 21 l weighed in at 286lbs and decided l wanted a change. I elected to have gastric bypass RNY. I was able to drop over 130lbs. But of course gastric bypass is not a magic bullet. So over the years l gained much of that weight back. As recently as last year l weighed in at 240lbs. I decided enough was enough and that l was going to change my lifestyle. In February 2016 l joined my local 9 round fitness and begin to monitor my food intake on myfitnesspal. As of today l am down over 60lbs and counting. Also, l recently became an owner of a 9 round fitness franchise.

The second l moved back to my hometown after 2 years living in LA l knew my life had to change. I experienced so many amazing opportunities and looking back l felt as if  l didn’t really”live ” in those moments. I’ve always felt held back by my weight. I was motivated to have a better life. To not only get the opportunity to experience amazing things but take them in for everything that they are. I’m 21 years old and l wanted the opportunity to live the best life l possibly could! So in march 2016 l had gastric by pass , and being a former beauty blogger l decided to document the whole thing. My goal is to always inspire people. Not just in weight loss but in life. The weight it self is just a small part of the jouney as a whole. It’s about loving yourself through every different size, finding friends and losing some. Its about succeeding and failing. It’s about being strong , mentally and physically. I share so much about my life, my weight loss, my friends, my family and even the things that are difficult to talk about. Body positivity isn’t loving every high and every low. Starting tip : I’m always asked what’s my biggest piece of advice and it’s this: embrace every part of your life and don’t let fear hold you back from amazing things!
